- Understanding the difference between USGA Conforming Drivers, Non-USGA Conforming Drivers and Non-USGA Submitted Drivers is important. Not all drivers made around the world are submitted to the USGA for testing. If you compete in USGA sactioned golf tournaments and need to play a driver on the USGA Driver Conforming list, you would need to play our PRO driver. It is on that list. If you want to maximize your driving distance off the tee box, go to our Driver Selector Graph and click on the section that applies to your average driving distance. The X and XX drivers are meant for recreational play and are thinner faced drivers for slower swing speeds. They are NON-USGA Submitted Drivers. Less than 1% of all golf played around the world is played in USGA Sanctioned Golf Tournaments. We are the only company in the world today making multiple face thickness drivers. HIGH (COR) COEFFICIENT OF RESTITUTION DESIGN
COR is the measurement of how a ball, slingshots off the face of a driver. The conforming COR limit of the USGA is .830. We have increased the Formula FIRE COR to .890. The result is increased ball speed, decreased spin and of course, longer drives.

AIR-FLOW STABILIZER DESIGN
Directing airflow over the crown for increased stability on swing path and increases club head speed.
Additional body rigidity in the crown of the driver head to minimize body deformation at impact. Storing energy forward in the head and releasing that energy back to the ball more quickly is critical for increased ball speeds.
HEEL AND TOE LOUVERS
Body rigidity is one of the most important performance features in all Krank Golf drivers. The heel and toe louvers create substantial strength in those areas which assist in straighter hitting on off center strikes.
TRI-SLEEVE ADAPTER
The FORMULA FIRE drivers are the only Cupped Faced Forged adjustable drivers in the world. The Tri-Sleeve Adapter allows for maximum adjustment without turning the shaft in the driver. For those golfers who spine or pure their shafts, this is a big advantage to other adapters which require turning the shaft to adjust loft.
