LONG DRIVE FEATURES

A Long Drive Driver is mainly used in the Sport of Long Drive Golf. It has lower lofted heads with longer and stiffer shafts. Over the past few years, a number of regular golfers have started experimenting with longer shafts and lower loft heads for normal golf play. They will hit the ball further, but usually not as straight. We advise staying with the standard setups for regular golf.

Best driver I’ve ever had
I have tried most well known brand’s drivers and none of them worked for me. All of them created too much back spin on my ball. I was having balls backspin in fairways. My average trackman backspin was 5,000rpm with my 8 degree Callaway.

So I decided that I was going to go against popular opinion and get the Krank long drive driver and use it for my regular game. I paired driver with the 2x Stiff Flywire and cut it down to 45in. Best decision I ever made! I have had this club about a year and I went from hitting 280 yard air balls to 320 bullets that will roll out another 20 yards. The only problem I have now is that I am hitting the ball too far on some holes. I think this club is great for guys like me that swing hard and probably played baseball too!

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR
I will start off by stating the is a reason distance has become all the rage. A few months ago I switched to a 48" shaft and started really focusing on my driving. I went from 305 Max yardage to 330 carry with no roll cause I my Apex was stupidly high and I was getting into trouble too often.

I switched to the Krank 5* to get my flight down to maximize distance, and switched to a 46" shaft. I'm now carrying 310 with roll to 340 without even going after it like I was with the 48" shaft and with better accuracy, with about a 120 clubhead speed and ball speeds in the 170s. It's such an efficient club. Make decent contact and you'll be at or near the 1.50 smash factor.

Customer service was fantastic. I called in after ordering a 4* and we talked it over and switched it to a 5* which was the correct move.

I'm super happy with my purchase and will be looking to get a 3 and 5 wood soon.
