Krank Golf, El Diablo Driver (USGA and R&A Conforming) wins the “Desert Launch” the First Pro Long Drive Tour Event of the Year and dominates the “Diamond in the Desert Classic” the first District Championships of the year hosted by Long Drivers of America.

Allen McDougall, Krank Golf Team Member, was able to endure the 10-hour event with consistently hitting balls over 360+ yards. Krank Golf was well represented at this Pro Long Drive Tour event called the “Desert Launch”. The Long Drivers of America host 5 major Long Drive events during the year, including the Remax World Long Drive Championships. This event was the first major event of the year and couldn’t have started off better for the Krank Golf Team. Not only did Allen McDougall win the Open Division Championship, but also Gerry James, from Big Break Mesquite and former World Long Drive Champion finished second in the Senior Division hitting the El Diablo Driver. Krank Golf owner Lance Reader stated, “the El Diablo Driver has easily become the dominant driver in Long Drive with over 50% of competitive Long Drivers hitting it. We currently have the strongest Long Drive team and plan on having a very successful year.”

Krank Golf also faired very well in the “Diamond in the Desert Classic”. Finishing 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th in the Grand Champion division. Finishing 1^st 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th in the Super Senior Division. Owner Lance Reader winning the Senior Division title and Scott Smith, Krank Team member finishing 2^nd in the Open Division. All top competitors gaining a birth into the Remax World Long Drive Championship.
